At the school fete last year we had many food stalls, Some were very popular. Some not so popular. The rides were very busy. The fireworks were good.
What do you like about the school fete ? What can be improved ? What don't you like ? What reasons did you go or not go to the fete ? If the fete was at the same time as the Ekka would you still go ?

Kindly find above a copy of the building plans approved by the Board of ICB. The Board, Principal and CPAC are all keen to ensure construction commences in August as planned. There are no indications thus far that this commencement date cannot be achieved. A legible version of this plan is accessible through the College Administration Office.
Legend:
Brown = Phase 1 (Completed)
Green = Phase 2 (Completed)
Red = Phase 3 (Due to commence in August)

Multi-Sports Complex
Posted by Nuraan ...
It is great that the school has so many parents that want to make the school a success. The Multi-Sports complex is a fantastic initiative.
How many students at the school show an interest in cricket since $64k of the $70k is for the cricket nets.
How much more is the school going to need to invest in cricket. Having cricket nets is not all it takes. Coaching? Selection? Kits? practice balls, bats.... Infact if I am not mistaken, cricket could be one the most expensive sport that a school can offer. Next it would be a bowling machine for $50K.
The only questions I have is:
1. Are there enough students that will play the sport over other cheaper sports, that we are willing to invest most of the budget to cricket.
2. Is there going to be a girls team?
3. Has the school thought of how they are going to make sure that the $64k investment in cricket is going to result in a good cricket side for the school? Are they hiring a coach?
4. What about the kids that want to play, but can't afford $1000 on bat, padding, helmet, gloves, boots, whites.... At least with a game of soccer you just need boots, or tennis a racket, and most other sports just a good pair of shoes.
Insha-allah we will raise the $70k. I just hope that the nets they are putting up is the best way to invest that money to start sports facilities at the school.

Singing of Australian National Anthem during Assembly
Posted by Uly ...
At other schools, they sing the Australian anthem at assembly. We don't sing the Australian anthem at school. Is there a reason ?
